Terms of Service

1. Overview

RentSet is software-as-a-service that helps washer-and-dryer rental operators manage inquiries, applications, inventory, installations, monthly charges, maintenance, and reporting. RentSet is provided by Speaktacular, LLC.

By creating an account or using RentSet, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. RentSet Is Not the Lessor

RentSet is a software platform. RentSet is not the owner, lessor, operator, or seller of any appliances. Each rental business that uses RentSet is an independent operator responsible for its own contracts, insurance, equipment, installations, repairs, taxes, payment collection, and legal compliance.

3. No Guarantee of Results

RentSet does not guarantee customers, payments, profitability, equipment condition, or legal enforceability. RentSet is a tool to help you manage your existing business operations more efficiently.

4. Renter Payments

RentSet uses Stripe Connect for card payments. You connect your own Stripe account, and renters pay securely through Stripe. Stripe confirms successful card payments to RentSet automatically, and funds go directly to your connected Stripe account. RentSet does not hold, transfer, or process renter funds. Optional external or manual methods (PayPal, Venmo, cash, check, etc.) may still require you to verify the payment in your provider before marking it paid in RentSet.

5. Data Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter into RentSet, including customer information, asset details, payment records, and agreement terms. Financial reports depend entirely on operator-entered data.

6. Renter Information

You must not misuse renter information. You may only collect information necessary for the rental transaction. You must comply with applicable privacy laws when collecting, storing, and using renter data.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

RentSet software subscriptions are purchased and managed through the RentSet website. Monthly and annual subscriptions are available. You may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the applicable paid period. Access may continue through that period and may become read-only afterward. Canceling a subscription does not delete your business, your personal login, or retained data.

8. Account and Business Deletion

Business deletion archives the business and schedules its provider-backed RentSet software subscription to stop renewing. Business deletion may require active rentals, open work, pending payments, applications, reservations, or other displayed blockers to be resolved first. Business deletion does not mean every related record is physically erased. Records may be retained for legitimate accounting, legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, and system-integrity purposes.

Personal-login deletion removes the User authentication record only after ownership requirements are satisfied. These deletion actions are irreversible once completed.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree to use RentSet only for lawful purposes. See our Acceptable Use Policy for prohibited activities.

10. Limitation of Liability

RentSet is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentSet and Speaktacular, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of RentSet after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
